As the leaves begin to fall and the autumn winds chill the air, Chordiality heads to yet another new venue, this time in Huddersfield.
The choir has been invited to sing at St Patrick’s Church on the outskirts of the town and the singers will be hoping to make a big impression and ‘wow’ their new audience.
St Patrick’s can boast of being the first purpose-built church of the nineteenth century Catholic revival in Huddersfield, built in the ‘thin Gothic style of the Anglican Commissioners’ churches’.
Today, it is a grand grade II-listed building and its elegant interior offers a warm, beautiful acoustic where a good choir can excel.
