Chordiality will celebrate its 30th year with a magical evening of music in the beautiful acoustics of Bradford Cathedral.
Over the 30 years, the choir has performed more than 165 concerts and will delight its cathedral audience with a wide-ranging programme of popular choral favourites.
The National Festival Orchestra Strings, led by the leader of the National Festival Orchestra and Lydian String Quartet, Sally Robinson, will accompany the singers in a repertoire to engage all tastes.
The choir’s programme on the evening will include pieces from Mozart’s ‘Requiem Mass’, Ola Gjeilo’s ‘The Ground’, Vivaldi’s ‘Magnificat’ and the composition for strings by Karl Jenkins, ‘Palladio’.
The programme will be complemented with popular choral favourites from the choir’s repertoire over the years including the famous power ballad ‘Anthem’ from the musical ‘Chess’, made famous by Alfie Boe and Michael Ball, ‘As Long As I Have Music’ by Don Besig and Nancy Price and many others.
