Deck the hall – the Christmas concerts are coming

Christmas candles

As the dark nights draw in and the robins start to appear, our thoughts turn to the joyous festive period and the happiness that Christmas brings.

And top of your shopping list should be tickets for a Chordiality Christmas Concert.  This year, audiences will have two opportunities to hear the choir.

The Chordiality singers will be performing in:

  • Batley on Sunday 15 December at 3pm at St Mary’s Church, and in
  • Bradford on Sunday 22 December at 3pm at First Martyrs Church in Heaton.

The concerts will feature popular carols for the audience, seasonal readings both amusing and reflective and, of course, a festive selection from the choir.

Rehearsals are well under way and the singers will celebrate the season with such festive favourites as John Rutter’s Deck The Hall, Reginald Spofforth’s Yorkshire carol Hail, Smiling Morn, the Christmas TV ad favourite Carol Of The Bells and Handel’s Messiah will also be making an appearance.  This is to name but a few.
