In the final concert of the season before Christmas, Chordiality will stay on home soil with a visit to St Barnabas’ Church in Heaton, Bradford.

The choir have been regular performers at the church over the years. On this occasion, admission to the concert is free of charge. A retiring collection will be held to raise money for church funds.

St Barnabas is the home of the 53-foot-long Heaton tapestry; a timeline comprising 357 individual pieces which tells the story of Heaton in many styles of needlework. 427 people, aged from 6 to 93, contributed to the community project which crossed boundaries between churches and faiths.

Hear the singers, for free, perform an hour-long programme of songs old and new. On the day, Chordiality will joined by guest soloist, flautist Rosie Walsh. Alongside solo pieces, Rosie will reprise the Caccini’s Ave Maria. The choir, with Rosie, made a recording of piece back in the Covid lockdown which appears on the Chordiality YouTube site. It currently has over 9800 views.
