Chordiality are delighted to be sharing the stage with the National Festival Orchestra for a spectacular concert of choral and orchestral classics in Bradford Cathedral.

Top of the bill on the evening will be a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s famous Requiem in D minor to a score edited by John Rutter. Written by the composer as a musical tribute to his deceased father, the work comprises some of the most beautiful melodies that Fauré ever wrote. Of all seven sections, the Pie Jesu, Agnus Dei and In Paradisum emerge as the most glorious refrains of the piece.

To accompany the Fauré Requiem, the evening’s repertoire will also include such delights as How Lovely Are Thy Dwells by Brahms, The Heavens Are Telling from Haydn’s oratorio The Creation and Verdi’s famous Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, plus many more.

Reserve your seats now via email at chordiality.choir@hotmail.com or through a member of the choir.
