As the dark nights draw in and autumn takes its grip, what better than an entertaining evening of beautiful song with free admission. Yes, there will be no charge for entry as the church endeavours to raise funds for their parish charity Mary’s Meals.
Retiring donations, either cash or by card-reader, will enable the charity to provide school meals to children in some of the poorest countries in the world.
The choir were due to sing at the church in 2020, but sadly the pandemic put pay to that. So, this performance is now long overdue.
Those attending will be treated to a varied programme of marvellous music including well-known works by Joseph Haydn, Carl Orff, Eric Whitacre and Matthew Coleridge to name but a few. A fantastic evening is guaranteed.
