<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nPeople will be able to hear the choir at the following venues this Christmas and tickets are on sale now \u2013 reserve your seats via email at chordiality.choir@hotmail.com<\/a> or through a member of the choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seasonal refreshments are included in the ticket price at both concerts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n During the Covid lockdown, the choir continued to meet online and even produced a 2020 Christmas Concert, despite being in isolation, which was promoted on YouTube (click to view<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the pieces on the recording, the beautiful Caccini\u2019s Ave Maria<\/em>, has really caught the public\u2019s imagination and the numbers viewing it on YouTube<\/a> continue to rise by the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Such has been its popularity that the piece will feature in this year\u2019s two Christmas concerts. The work includes a flute solo and Chordiality is delighted to have secured experienced flautist Rosie Walsh (pictured below), who played on the original recording, to appear at both performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Alongside the Ave Maria<\/em>, the choir will perform the evergreen festive favourites O Holy Night<\/em>, Hail Smiling Morn<\/em>, Carol Of The Bells<\/em> and Masters<\/em> Of This Hall<\/em>. Audience carols and seasonal readings will complement the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The singers are also excited to be performing a number of new pieces in this year\u2019s repertoire with John Rutter\u2019s Gloria<\/em> as one of the centrepieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rutter\u2019s Gloria<\/em> has been enormously popular since it premiered in 1974.
