It\u2019s like a therapy for two hours on a Sunday evening.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI was just looking forward to hearing that beautiful sound that we used to make,\u201d added Susan. &nbsp;\u201cI also missed the camaraderie of the choir. &nbsp;I think my favourite part was just seeing everybody and being together again after so long.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/robin.chordiality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rose.jpg\" alt=\"Chordiality Summer Concert\" class=\"wp-image-676\" width=\"338\" height=\"190\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chordiality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rose-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/chordiality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rose-24x14.jpg 24w, https:\/\/chordiality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rose-36x20.jpg 36w, https:\/\/chordiality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Rose-48x27.jpg 48w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Covid lockdown, the choir had been rehearsing, like many other singing groups, using the online communications platform, Zoom, and had also made a number of virtual recordings including two concerts, which can be now found on the choir\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCLs9fJQ2WMxC0XS1VidR86Q\/videos\">YouTube site<\/a>.  Many of these pieces will comprise the repertoire for the first few rehearsals. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first night, the singers opened up with a favourite of the choir members, <em>As Long As I Have Music<\/em> by Nancy Price and Don Besig, and ended the evening, almost raising the roof, with the choral ballad <em>Anthem<\/em> from the musical <em>Chess<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018It\u2019s great to be back\u2019 was the feeling amongst members of Chordiality who met for their first face-to-face rehearsal in 18 months at the start of September.
