The work, celebrated the world over, was last performed by Chordiality in 2018, again in the Cathedral, and is a piece that seems to reach out to audience members like no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is regarded by many as one of the greatest choral works ever written, and even though completed by other composers, it still resonates with people due to its wonderful melodies, its dramatic nature and its ability to communicate so profoundly with all types of music lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n Rehearsals on the Requiem<\/em> will commence after Christmas and the choir\u2019s Music Director Peter Sherlock can\u2019t wait to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI personally love the music. It has an intensity whilst also being able to communicate the drama of a requiem to its listeners. It never really goes out of fashion,\u201d said Peter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt isn\u2019t often performed with full orchestra in such a beautiful setting and acoustic as the Cathedral.
