Chordiality to represent the county<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

— Just three Yorkshire choirs have been chosen to perform at this year\u2019s concert at the National Association of Choirs Annual Conference, and Chordiality is one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n

The conference welcomes delegates from across the country and this year\u2019s weekend event will take place in Wakefield in April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As is the tradition at the conference, a concert, this year entitled Festival of Yorkshire Choirs<\/em>, will be held on the Saturday evening (5 April at 7.30pm) to \u201ccelebrate the best of choral singing in the region\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside Chordiality, who are long-standing members of the Association, the audience will hear the singers of the Leeds Male Voice Choir and The Rodillian Singers.  The concert will be held at the Riley Smith Hall in nearby Tadcaster (28 Westgate, Tadcaster LS24 9AB) and each choir will perform its own separate programme on the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cIt is an honour to be invited to such a prestigious event,\u201d said Chordiality\u2019s Music Director Peter Sherlock.  \u201cIt is a recognition of the standard achieved by the choir and a credit to our singers for their hard work week in week out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe quality of Chordiality\u2019s singing reaches new heights every year and this is particularly impressive given the demands and variety of the repertoire, which changes annually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
