Chordiality will be celebrating Christmas with two concerts guaranteed to welcome in the season of goodwill and send revellers home full of the joys of the festive spirit.

  • Sunday 11 December, 3pm, at St Barnabas’ Church, Heaton, Bradford
  • Sunday 18 December, 3pm, at St Mary’s Church, Batley

Audience carols will combine with seasonal readings, both reflective and amusing, and, of course, there will be Yuletide favourites from the choir.

The ever-popular The Twelve Days Of Christmas and the triumphal Rejoice And Be Merry, both arranged by John Rutter, will feature in this year’s programme.  These works will sit alongside arrangements of traditional carols All Hail To The Days, Sing We Now Of Christmas (John Leavitt), Mid-Winter (Bob Chilcott) and The Holly And The Ivy (John Gardner).

The singers will be joined for a number of pieces by guest musician, flautist Rosie Walsh, and funds raised will go towards the activities of the two churches.  Collections will also be made for the Chordiality’s current adopted charity, the Bradford Baby Bank.
